Webb First Image Observations
The first images and spectroscopic data from NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope have revealed unprecedented and detailed views of the universe using all four of the instruments. The high-level images and spectra produced for the public can be found on WebbTelescope.org. The table below summarizes the JWST observations that were used to create those images and also provides links to obtain the data from the Mikulski Archive for Space Telescopes (MAST).
While the first images and spectra were created from a custom analysis; the data products provided at MAST come from the standard JWST pipeline. Links directly to the data in the MAST portal filtered by program ID and instrument are provided in the Instrument/Mode column. Details about which observations were used to create the first images are placed in the Notes column.
